The All Progressive Congress (APC) has suspended Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, the Lawmaker representing Ondo South Senatorial District. This action stems from accusations of anti-party activities leveled by members of the Igbotako Ward II executives in Okitipupa Local Government, Ondo State.

The suspension was formalized through a letter issued after a meeting of the Igbotako Ward II executives. They expressed that Senator Ibrahim’s conduct contradicted the party’s Constitution, specifically highlighting his legal actions against the APC and Lucky Aiyedatiwa, along with his involvement in activities against the party’s interests.

Alex Kalejaiye, the publicity Secretary of the APC in Ondo State, responded to inquiries regarding this development. He indicated that the state working committee was not yet officially informed about the suspension. Kalejaiye emphasized that the state Secretariat awaits official communication from the Local Government executive regarding this matter.
